Prickly pears surround our land and grow wild among the dry stone walls. Sweet and juicy, they feed on the hot Apulian summer sun and cannot be missed on the table. Hence the idea to create a sweet and sour compote with added red onion, to pair with cheeses and serve on any occasion.
Pairings: Crostini, bruschetta, for aperitifs and appetizers.
